Cornell Grain & Fiber Hemp Field Day Sept. 12

Growers, processors, product developers, researchers, and others interested in hemp grain and fiber are invited to see trials of new hemp cultivars, learn the latest in weed and disease management, and watch live demos of cutting-edge hemp harvesting and processing technologies.

Two new hemp varieties bred to help New York producers to meet regulatory limits for THC will be showcased at the event along with other hemp cultivars from France, Italy, Canada and U.S. breeding programs. Experts will also discuss weed and disease management strategies for hemp and exhibit new equipment including a FiberCut Sickle Bar Harvester and a FiberTrack 660 Mobile Decorticator system. The event is an outstanding opportunity to learn from Cornell experts and network with folks from New York and across the country.

$30 registration fee includes catered lunch. Register online.

Please also consider attending the USDA ARS Stakeholder Open House on Sept. 11 and High Cannabinoid Cannabis sativa Field Day on Sept. 13.
